About Kathleen

Kathleen Gilbertson is a trailblazer in the temporary attorney market, having spent the majority of her more than 26-year legal career as a freelance support attorney associating with many AV rated attorneys and enjoys an excellent reputation as an AV  rated attorney herself.  She is not only an experienced litigator at the trial court level, but also has significant appellate experience, as well as being experienced in transactional matters. Her unique practice grew out of her desire to be proactive in raising her two young children, and now her grand-daughter. 

Kathleen earned her bachelor of business administration and management with a strong emphasis in accounting in 1990, graduating Summa Cum Laude from now Texas A&M University. She earned her juris doctorate in 1994, graduating with honors from the William H. Bowen School of Law, where she served as a law review associate editor, co-founded the Environmental Law Society, was an active member of the William R. Overton American Inns of Court, a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and was the recipient of an American Jurisprudence Award. She is admitted to practice law in Arkansas, Arizona, and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Kathleen has associated with solo practitioners to large firms. She is self-motivated, has a positive, strong work ethic and is committed to integrity and dependability, taking pride in representing you and your client well.  She enjoys learning new areas of the law and is always eager to take on new responsibility and assignments. 

Kathleen works closely with her clients to ensure she provides each attorney the individualized services and attention needed to better meet their clients' needs and improve their overall enjoyment of the practice of law.
